Saturday July 25th - City of Water Day 2026
This year our boathouse will host 2 simultaneous events at 2 sites for City of Water Day. Volunteers are needed to staff each site and event. Here’s a great opportunity to lend a hand and to get volunteer credit! (Note: the hours below are guest attendee times. Volunteer shift times will be on the volunteer sign-ups.)
12n to 3p - Free Community Kayaking at Queens Landing Boathouse, Hunters Point South
We will host mini tours in collaboration with Hunters Point Parks Conservancy and North Brooklyn Community Boathouse.

11a to 3:30p - Learn to Row! at Anable Basin Dock in Long Island City

Paddlers of all ages are welcome!
Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
No registration required to kayak.
